KENNEDY RANGES

We will make our way exploring some country before heading for Gascoyne Junction where we will meet up with Rennee from Wooramulla Eco Cultural Journeys. We will then travel into the Mundatharrda (Kennedy Ranges) were we will be guided through prehistoric landscapes of Mundatharrda (Kennedy Ranges) and hear the Ant Dreaming story connected to Honeycomb Gorge (Mingah Munda), a place of great spiritual significance to the Yinggarda people. Explore unique land formations, ancient fossilised ocean beds, hidden petroglyphs (rock carvings), and discover traces of ancestors in the markings they left behind. Around the campfire we will hear about the nearby fertility grounds and other cultural stories connected to Mundathurra. Then sit back and enjoy the clearest of night skies as the stars put on a spectacular show.
We will not be able to take our Camper Trailers into the Kennedy Ranges but will organize secure parking for the 3 days of the tour.
MULLEWA TO DEGREY STOCK ROUTE
JUNE 17-23 (7 days)

This will be a trip on a Stock Route that is nowhere near as famous as the popular Canning Stock Route but has a great deal of history surrounding the route. We will work our way along the many wells, pools and springs along this route. The DeGrey-Mullewa Stock Route is included in the State Register of Heritage Places. The route includes 55 government wells, which were sunk from 1895 onwards.
The journey was first made in 1866 by Edward Timothy Hooley, his team, and nearly 2,000 sheep
EXPLORING MURCHISON
AUGUST 1-5 (5 days)

WA is famous for its amazing wildflowers each year. We can never guarantee what nature provides but regardless, this trip is always special. Cameras are essential. Beautiful landscapes and tracks, with some history to take in during the day and campfires at night
WILDFLOWER DISCOVERY

Each spring, this country bursts into bloom (normally between late August and October) with ‘carpets’ of everlastings through to petite orchards and the coveted wreath flower. Wildflowers displays are subject to seasonal variations and weather conditions, there are also some great historical/geological sights to see along the way. We will explore the biggest wildflower collection on earth which calls Western Australia home. More than 12,000 species of flora burst into brilliant bloom across the state each season, delivering a botanical display like no other. It’s a diverse and unique show, with 60 percent of the flowering species found nowhere else on the planet.
GOLDFIELDS
SEPTEMBER 6-10 (5 days)

Our Goldfields adventure is the perfect place for you to experience the wide-open spaces, amazing scenery, historical locations and enjoy the starry night skies whilst enjoying sitting around the campfire. The trip will cover the many wonders that the Goldfields has to offer from abandoned towns, outback stations and rocky outcrops. It will highlight some of the highs and lows of gold prospecting and gives you a greater appreciation of how inhospitable the outback was.
PRESTON BEACH
OCTOBER 29 (1 day)

This trip is designed to give experiences and exposure to some driving through tracks in the pines and also along the beach.
